Restriction of rail traffic

We want to inform you about the current situation and effects.

Important updates

The Vienna-Enns section of the route continues to be massively affected by the flooding, parts of it are under water and the damage assessment has not yet begun.
It is currently assumed that the route will not be available for several weeks.
Diversions are being carried out in single-track operation via the former Westbahn line (Rekawinkel), limited access for freight trains from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
After the flood-related repair work has been completed, double track operation is planned from 10.10.2024.
Timely booking confirmations and train capacities to/from Vienna cannot therefore be guaranteed.
On request, we can check paid truck alternatives.
As a result of the events, delays and train cancellations cannot be ruled out.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
