Restriction of rail traffic

We want to inform you about the current situation and effects.

 

Important updates

  • The warning strikes have ended, the backlog of containers and parked trains is massive.
  • Dispositive flow control has been declared in the ports of Hamburg and Bremerhaven.
  • Terminals in Hamburg are starting to work through the slots from Tuesday
  • The affected Containers will be rescheduled as soon as the exact effects of the strike are foreseeable and rescheduling of the slots can begin. It is to be expected that Cut-offs for exports cannot be achieved.
  • Short-term train cancellations are to be expected until the middle of week 29.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
