Restriction of rail traffic

We want to inform you about the current situation and effects.

 

Important updates

  • The overall situation is beginning to ease, the access controls have been lifted.
  • The parked trains in the German rail network were processed by the Hamburg terminals.
  • The highest priority for all those involved is to restore the regular timetable.
  • We are implementing additional special trains capacities and which will complement our existing train programm.
  • The section of the route between Vienna and Enns is still only single-track and only accessible to a limited extend for freight traffic.
  • As a result of the events, delays and train cancellations cannot be ruled out.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
